Job description
Primary Responsibility:
Operate Plating and Heat Treat equipment. Maintain equipment and inspect parts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform plating operations in accordance with work instructions and work order specifications.
- Perform stripping operations in accordance with work instructions and work order specifications.
- Perform heat treat operations in accordance with work instructions and work order specifications.
- Hardness test parts and document results after heat treat.
- Check quench for proper percentage and adjust as needed.
- Maintain and clean all equipment
- Operate hoist
- Follow all safety instructions and practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to follow instruction.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. multiple times per day.
- Physically able to wear multiple pieces of PPE and work in a hot environment.
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Some overtime required
