The HR Generalist holds a vital function supporting the HR Enablement efforts in APAC. The role centers on delivering HR initiatives and ensuring the efficient handling of daily HR tasks for specific business units. It also plays a part in crafting a consistent employee experience aligned with the company’s culture and core values. Serving the region, the HR Generalist is a key contact for employees and Managers to facilitate the implementation of HR guidelines and processes. Additionally, the role offers coaching and support to Managers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support managers by coaching and mentoring them on human resources policies and procedures. Equip them with the abilities and understanding needed to be effective leaders who encourage a positive, compliant work environment.
  • Facilitate key HR activities, such as talent management, engagement, learning and development, career coaching, mentoring, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Collaborate on initiatives with the global enablement team, HRBPs, and COEs to improve the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Align with the wider enablement team to ensure that local execution of tasks supports overarching HR and Company Priorities.
  • Provide HR assistance to employees, acting as a primary operational point of contact for HR-related questions and concerns.
  • Serve as a representative for employee concerns, offering the leadership team insights into employee sentiment, workplace culture, and morale across the country.
  • Maintain compliance with local employment legislation and adherence to company policies.
  • Assist in the implementation and oversight of HR policies and practices throughout the nation, following the strategic direction established by global HR.
  • Collaborate closely with HR operations at the company to provide effective HR services to employees within the country.
  • Support organizational change management at the country level, facilitating smooth transitions during periods of change.
  • Address and resolve employee relations issues within the country, conducting detailed investigations when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in Human Resources, accompanied by a solid HR operational foundation.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in the effective rollout of HR initiatives and programs that directly influence business outcomes.
  • Knowledge in other APAC markets are highly beneficial
  • Proficiency in others Asian language is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HR operations, systems, and industry guidelines,
  • Experience in a global or multi-regional organization is beneficial, with a keen understanding of cultural nuances within different markets.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in engaging effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment.
