Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative supports the Sales Team and the overall sales growth efforts in

the IoT segment. This role requires tight interaction with sales, marketing, operations, product

management and factory teams. The role is responsible for supporting pipeline processes and

pipeline hygiene as well as ensuring operational excellence in order fulfilment. The Inside Sales

Representative will manage the IoT lead process, qualify potential customers, engage proactively

and work with Sales and Product Marketing on a professional customer experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Builds and maintains strong Sales Team, partner & end user account relationships which

includes understanding needs, resolving customer issues, identifying sales opportunities,

providing product feature knowledge, as well as understanding the marketplace and

competition.

  • Supports Regional Sales reps in designated territory with Salesforce pipeline

management and hygiene as well as additional business relevant processes within

Salesforce.

  • Joins joint customer calls with Sales Managers on selected accounts to learn ins and outs

of these customers to support and engage with them directly in the future.

Participates in weekly Sales Team calls to surface issues and align on activities and

objectives. • Sources new sales opportunities through inbound & outbound lead

qualification and works with Sales & Product Marketing for further engagement, nurture

and development.

  • Identify and develop new and existing marketing opportunities through mail, research, cold

calling and trade show leads. Converts 12+ leads to active opportunities with $250,000+

total potential. • Reviews and manages returns by engaging with customers and internal

teams • Continuous training on Sales, Account, Product related topics. Inhouse through

1:1 trainings, tutorials and videos or through external training as necessary and approved

by manager.

  • Supports Regional Sales team in sales discovery calls with partners and end users to

enhance customer experience.

  • Occasional travel with Field Sales staff, trade shows and sales meetings possible.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales, sales development, and/or customer service experience is preferred.
  • Salesforce knowledge required.
  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers/partners and gains their

trust and respect.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced

environment.

  • Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and ability to make decisions

in a timely manner.

  • Solid knowledge of Industry, products and applications
  • High attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and be coached.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office product suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

The salary range for this role is $50,000 to $75,000, plus bonuses and Pre-IPO equity. It is uncommon for anyone to be hired at or near the top of the range. Final compensation is based on several factors, including skills, experience, training, business needs, cultural fit, level, and location.
