About Doppel

Doppel is building the future of social engineering defense. Our AI-native platform uses agentic AI to protect executives, employees, customers, and brands from phishing, impersonation, fraud, and other AI-powered threats across digital channels. We help some of the world’s most recognized brands detect and dismantle attacker infrastructure while strengthening employee resilience through threat-informed training and simulation. By unifying Digital Risk Protection, Human Risk Management and Email Security, Doppel connects threats into a real-time intelligence graph to power faster disruption, smarter defense, and modern security awareness at scale. Backed by leading investors including Andreessen Horowitz and Bessemer Venture Partners, and trusted by leading enterprises, Doppel is a rapidly growing Series C startup building the future of social engineering defense. Our team combines deep cybersecurity expertise, operational rigor, and startup velocity to solve some of the internet’s most urgent trust and safety challenges.

The Role

At Doppel, we focus on building a culture where people feel respected, supported, and trusted to do meaningful work. We value clarity, collaboration, and solving real problems for our customers and teammates. We are looking for an IT Manager to lead the team and systems that support Doppel's employees across our offices and remote workforce. In this role, you will set priorities for the IT function, coach and develop the team, improve day-to-day service, and own the identity, endpoint, SaaS, office technology, vendor, and process foundations needed for the company to scale.

What You Will Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop the IT team by setting clear priorities, assigning ownership, removing blockers, and creating a consistent approach to service and escalation.
  • Own employee IT operations across onboarding, offboarding, access changes, equipment deployment, support, and asset recovery for a distributed workforce.
  • Run reliable IT service delivery, including intake, triage, escalation, service metrics, documentation, and continuous improvement of the employee support experience.
  • Administer and improve identity and access management in Okta, including single sign-on, multifactor authentication, user lifecycle workflows, privileged access, and SaaS integrations.
  • Manage the endpoint fleet with Jamf and related tools, including device standards, deployment, inventory, patching, configuration, compliance, and replacement planning.
  • Oversee SaaS administration and governance, including application ownership, access reviews, license management, vendor coordination, and secure configuration.
  • Maintain dependable office technology for the New York and San Francisco offices, including connectivity, conference rooms, audiovisual systems, and relationships with local service providers.
  • Build repeatable processes and automations that reduce manual work, improve data quality, and make IT operations easier to measure and scale.
  • Partner with Security on endpoint protection, identity controls, vulnerability remediation, incident response, audit evidence, and practical improvements to company controls.
  • Manage IT vendors, budgets, renewals, procurement, and roadmap planning while communicating risks, tradeoffs, and progress to business leaders.

What We Are Looking For

  • Approximately 5 years of experience leading an IT team, with a track record of setting priorities, coaching employees, and improving team performance.
  • Hands-on corporate IT experience in a cloud-first, high-growth company supporting both office-based and remote employees.
  • A self-directed approach to work, with the judgment to identify gaps, make practical decisions, and carry projects from planning through completion.
  • Experience administering identity, endpoint, and device-management platforms; Okta, MDM, and macOS experience is especially relevant.
  • Experience running an IT service desk or support operation, including ticketing, escalation, service metrics, documentation, and process improvement.
  • Working knowledge of SaaS administration, license management, vendor management, procurement, and employee lifecycle controls.
  • Experience supporting office networks, conference-room technology, audiovisual systems, and remote collaboration tools.
  • Strong partnership with security teams and a practical understanding of endpoint protection, access controls, vulnerability remediation, and incident response.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with employees and leaders across the company.
