Position Overview:

Front-end developers at Squarepoint are instrumental in enhancing user experience on our sophisticated research and trading platforms. You will use React and Typescript to develop fully-fledged applications facilitating real-time data access, and support the exploration of large volumes of data integral to our trading workflows and operations.

Your contributions will drive rapid decision-making and uphold our competitive edge in a high-stakes trading environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other degree with a heavy emphasis on software development,
  • Up to 4 years experience in a relevant role such as software development,
  • Experience in web development using a modern React stack with TypeScript,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Willingness to pick up and learn new technologies and frameworks,
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with git and Linux,
  • Experience with relational or document store databases,
  • Experience working in an investment or financial business is useful.
