Summary:
The Lead Executive Administration Partner provides high-level, on-site support to C-level executives in Santa Monica, CA, while leading a team of Executive Administrative Partners (EAPs). This role balances hands-on ownership of complex priorities and calendars with direct management of two EAPs, ensuring consistent quality, discretion, and operational excellence across the support function.
This role is designed for someone who has built their career in executive support and wants to continue operating at the highest level of the craft while taking on meaningful team leadership.
Essential Functions
Executive Support
- Provides high-touch partnership to C-level executives, independently managing complex calendars and travel.
- Anticipates needs and resolves conflicting priorities with minimal direction.
- Handles sensitive information with absolute discretion and high attention to detail.
EAP Team Leadership & Oversight
- Manages a small EAP team, providing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
- Oversees workload and quality standards, leading team onboarding and development.
- Partners with the Sr. Director, Workplace Experience on team performance, staffing, development, and changes to the EAP support model.
Operational Excellence
- Establishes consistent standards and identifies process improvements for executive support.
- Models best practices and manages high-visibility executive events and cadences.
Judgment & Autonomy
- Navigates ambiguity and changing priorities with sound judgment and composure.
- Operates independently to connect business priorities and anticipate downstream needs.
Required Qualifications & Competencies
- 10+ years of progressive executive support experience, including C-level partnership.
- Proven experience leading, mentoring, or managing administrative teams.
- Exceptional judgment, discretion, and business acumen.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and ways of working.
- Ability to work on-site in Santa Monica four days per week.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$180,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.
Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
