Why work at Purple Land Management

  • Work environment: Hybrid and remote options available, with local office hubs in multiple states; emphasis on online collaboration and scalable tools.
  • Culture: “Give More Than We Take” philosophy – the company invests in employee development and community impact. However, third-party employee reviews (e.g., Glassdoor) rate the company 2.7/5, with low scores for work-life balance (2.5), compensation (2.2), culture (2.5), and career growth (2.4) – potential red flags for job seekers.
  • Growth opportunity: High hiring velocity (yearly job postings up 200%+) suggests ample openings for landmen, title abstractors, project managers, GIS analysts, and executives. Many roles are W-2 or 1099, offering flexible engagement models.
  • Notable perks: Access to leading ESRI GIS technology, work on high-value energy projects, and a chance to be part of the energy transition.
