Job description

Why Harvey

At Harvey, we’re transforming how legal and professional services operate. By combining frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise, we’re reshaping how critical knowledge work gets done for decades to come. This is a rare chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point. We have strong product-market fit and world-class investor support. We’re scaling fast and defining a new category in real time. The work is ambitious, the bar is high, and the opportunity for growth — personal, professional, and financial — is unmatched. Our team moves fast, takes ownership, and is deeply committed to the mission — operating with intensity, staying close to our customers, and pushing each other for excellence. We live by three values: Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job's Not Finished. We act quickly on clear judgment over perfect information, we believe simplicity is what scales, and we're never satisfied with where we are. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who share that drive, we'd love to build with you. At Harvey, the future of professional services is being written today — and we’re just getting started.

Role Overview

Harvey is trusted by the leading law firms and in-house teams to help them harness AI. Our Legal Innovation Partners provide strategic counsel to law firm and legal department leaders as they define and execute AI transformation within their organizations. They serve as a bridge between Harvey and the legal innovation community, representing Harvey and bringing the community’s needs and perspectives into Harvey’s strategy and product development.

What You’ll Do

  • Advise customers on AI transformation. You’ll draw on your experience driving change in legal organizations to help customers design and execute their AI strategies. You’ll tailor this advice to each customer’s priorities and identify practical next steps.
  • Help customers evaluate the value of AI initiatives, define practical measures of success, and use what they learn to inform adoption and investment decisions.
  • Help firms and their clients develop new ways to collaborate on legal work.
  • Help law firms adapt pricing, staffing, and client service, and help legal departments improve how legal services are delivered as AI changes legal work.
  • Advance Legal AI thought leadership, including representing Harvey in industry forums, publishing analyses on emerging issues in legal innovation, and developing practical guides and frameworks.
  • Build relationships and facilitate knowledge exchange across the legal innovation community. Design and lead workshops and educational sessions with law firms, corporate legal teams, and professional organizations.

What You Have

  • 7+ years of relevant experience across legal practice, legal innovation, or transformation at a top tier law firm, corporate legal team, or legal tech organization. Qualified lawyers are strongly preferred.
  • Strong point of view on AI transformation in legal organizations, grounded in practical experience using generative AI and an ability to translate its capabilities and limitations into strategic guidance.
  • Credibility with senior legal, innovation, and business leaders, with the ability to build alignment and translate between technical and legal/business audiences.
  • A track record of putting legal innovation strategy into practice, including aligning stakeholders, overcoming adoption barriers, and demonstrating improved outcomes. Experience translating that work into practical approaches that inform product direction or service design.
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, including executive advising, workshop facilitation, teaching, industry speaking, and clear written guidance.

Compensation

$254,600 - $381,800 USD OTE (75/25 split)
