About Maddox + You:

Reporting directly to the Facilities and Equipment Manager for the newly formed Maddox PRO (Professional Resource Organization).  The purpose of Maddox PRO is to provide various shared services to Maddox Industrial Transformer and other projects and businesses under common ownership to Maddox Industrial Transformer LLC (MIT).  Currently, PRO provides and coordinates all maintenance and upkeep functions for all real estate assets in the owner’s portfolio.  The vision is to expand these functions to larger industrial and/or commercial operations.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of standard maintenance processes and inspection processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, strong handyman skills, and project management abilities. If you are excited about being on the ground level of expanding business operations, bring a problem solving mindset and have maintenance experience, this role provides a lot of upside for career growth.

We are seeking an experienced, highly capable Maintenance Technician to join our growing Facilities & Equipment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine inspections of facilities and equipment as well as performing repairs and scheduling maintenance, with regular travel between locations within the local to which they are hired.  Primarily a shop/indoor environment with occasional outdoor work as necessary.

More about You:

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting routine inspections of facilities and equipment
  • Performing prescribed preventative maintenance for facilities and equipment
  • Performing basic repairs of facilities and equipment as necessary
  • Coordinating contractors when repairs are beyond the capabilities of in-house service
  • Being an onsite liaison for large projects on an as-needed basis
  • Other duties as assigned by the Facilities and Equipment Manager

Experience & Education:

  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing background
  • Ability to prioritize many tasks and initiatives
  • Valid drivers licence
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay range = (wages + bonus)
