About the role

New York Medical Imaging Associates, an established independent outpatient radiology practice on Manhattan's Upper East Side, is seeking a dedicated Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography in a patient-centered environment.

What you'll do

  • Perform 2D and 3D mammography (tomosynthesis) exams with attention to accurate patient positioning and high image quality.
  • Support diagnostic mammography workups and assist radiologists as needed.
  • Complete mammography quality control and maintain compliance with MQSA, ACR, FDA, and New York State requirements.
  • Utilize RIS/PACS systems and maintain accurate exam documentation.
  • Provide compassionate, professional patient care while supporting efficient clinical workflow. Required qualifications
  • ARRT(R) certification.
  • Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
  • Meet MQSA mammography requirements and knowledge of MQSA/ACR standards.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Strong knowledge of mammography positioning, image quality standards, radiation safety, and patient care.
  • Ability to work the required schedule through 5:00 PM.

Preferred qualifications

  • ARRT(M) certification.
  • 1+ year of mammography experience, including screening and diagnostic exams.
  • Experience with 3D mammography/tomosynthesis and familiarity with Hologic equipment.
  • Experience with RIS/PACS workflows and MQSA quality control procedures. Schedule & commitment
  • Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.
  • Full-time preferred; part-time or alternative schedules may be considered for well-qualified candidates.
