The Role

We are looking for a consultant who is passionate about achieving the business vision and wants to participate in the transformation of the global life sciences industry. As a consultant of the Veeva products, you will join our Professional Services team providing post-product application consulting. You will focus on absorbing and providing expertise to Veeva products.

What You'll Do

  • Help to keep up to date and implement new features within the Veeva product suite
  • Work closely with customer business and IT staff to understand their requirements
  • Think critically to help design the solution your customers request as well as the solution they have not requested but they might need
  • Act as customer liaison, managing communication between implementation and maintenance teams, customer stakeholders, and internal Veeva Product teams
  • Guide customers in adopting Veeva products and industry best practices as part of post-implementation programs focused on the holistic success of the customer
  • Drive change management methodology at our customers switching from on-premises to SaaS solutions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of working experience in system operations and maintenance through direct communication with clients
  • Native level of Japanese language skills in oral and writing
  • Reading and writing English documents using a translator
  • Ability to understand and find out customer requirements accurately and meet them or propose alternative plan

Nice to Have

  • Experience configuring/supporting/implementing any of the following types of products:
  • CRM: Salesforce etc
  • Content Management: SharePoint, Zinc MAPS, Documentum or other similar
  • Java
  • Have around 4 years of relevant experience in either the life sciences industry or technology vendors in the life sciences industry
  • Presentation skills
  • Fluent in English
