Kobie is a values-led organization where we believe that everyone is a leader, regardless of their position or role.
Travel Requirements: As a remote-first organization headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida, Kobie values meaningful in-person connection and collaboration that strengthens our teams, supports our clients, and enhances our culture. About the team and what we’ll build together The Marketing Operations team is Kobie’s campaign execution engine — delivering outbound loyalty communications for some of the world’s most recognized brands. As a Marketing Ops QA Analyst, you’ll serve as the final quality gate before any campaign reaches a client’s loyalty members. You’ll work closely with Developers and Campaign Managers to validate every outbound communication — ensuring it’s accurate, compliant, on-brand, and aligned to the campaign’s intended audience and strategy.
How you will make an impact
As a Marketing Ops QA Analyst, you own defect identification, tracking, and sign-off — and no campaign ships without your clearance. Review and validate all outbound campaigns prior to deployment — including email content, subject lines, personalization, and dynamic elements Verify audience targeting logic, segmentation, and suppression lists against campaign specifications Confirm data integrity: validate that merge tags, personalization fields, and offer content are rendering correctly for the right audiences Check all links, UTM parameters, and redirect destinations for accuracy Validate platform configuration — send settings, throttling, scheduling, from name/address — against approved specs Assess campaigns against brand standards, legal and compliance requirements, and messaging strategy Log and track defects in the team’s QA system; communicate findings clearly to Development for resolution Own QA sign-off gates in the deployment workflow — campaigns do not deploy without QA clearance Review quality-related post-launch issues and feed findings back into QA frameworks and checklists Maintain and improve QA documentation, checklists, and testing standards over time
At the end of the first year, success means: defect rates on deployed campaigns stay below 2%, QA reviews are completed within SLA windows, and every defect log is clear enough for Development to resolve without back-and-forth
What you need to be successful
Required Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 1–3 years of experience in QA, marketing operations, or digital campaign review Familiarity with email marketing platforms and campaign QA workflows Strong analytical eye — able to catch discrepancies in data, copy, and configuration that others miss Understanding of audience segmentation, targeting logic, and suppression requirements Methodical, process-oriented approach; comfortable working from checklists and documented standards Clear communicator — able to describe defects precisely and escalate risks without ambiguity
Preferred
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS email rendering Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent enterprise ESP Experience using defect tracking tools (Jira, or similar) Knowledge of AMPScript or dynamic content logic in campaign platforms
