Medical Copy Editor – Philippines
We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Copy Editor to join Inizio Medical in the Philippines.
Please note that this role is to work a night shift, so please only apply if you can accommodate working a night shift.

About the role
Reporting to the Global Editorial Team Lead, the Medical Copy Editor is responsible for reviewing and editing a wide range of materials in a timely manner while adhering to industry, company and client style guides.
The Medical Copy Editor ensures that all work is delivered in line with editorial policies and standards.
Key responsibilities
- Copy editing, proofreading and formatting scientific content, including slide decks, manuscripts and scientific communications, in line with congress, journal and client specifications.
- Preparing documents for teams within budgeted timelines.
- Assisting teams with journal and congress submissions as required.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues and project teams to achieve common goals.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a medical, scientific, regulatory or pharmacovigilance editing role, preferably within a medical communications agency, contract research organisation, medical journal or related industry.
- A degree. Please note, you must have completed your degree. If you did not complete for studies for any reason, please flag this.
- The ability to review, comprehend and revise complex medical and scientific materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience incorporating AI solutions into editorial workflows is desirable.
- The ability to effectively prioritise projects and manage your workload.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A strong ability to work as part of an effective team.
- Flexibility to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
