Internet Backyard is building financial infrastructure for the compute economy. AI is making compute one of the most important resources in the world, but the systems around it are still early.
We help data centers, neo clouds and inference providers automate financial operations and create the trusted records needed for pricing, cash collection, market visibility, and future capital products.

What You’ll Do
You'll own features end to end: frontend, backend, data models, APIs. There's real autonomy here. You take things from idea to shipped without someone holding your hand. This isn't siloed work. We're a flat team; everyone works on their own pieces and comes together to connect them. We don't hand you a spec to execute. We expect you to think, push back, and shape what gets built.
What We’re Looking For
- You're strong across the whole app - frontend, backend, and the architecture connecting them. You can pick up anyone's work and combine the pieces instead of getting blocked at the seams.
- Front-end and design sense matter to you. We ship features that need real UI, and "I'm a backend person" doesn't cut it here.
- AI is part of your workflow, not a crutch. You plan with it, iterate with it, and push back on it. It makes you 10x better, not a foundation to lean on.. You own every line that goes to production.
- You can reason about AI-generated code. You catch what's wrong, know how to improve it, and have the intuition to tell when it's adding fluff, introducing workarounds, or doing something wrong.
- You understand why the financial infrastructure behind compute matters, and you want to be help build it.

How We Work
No layers, no handoffs, no hiding behind process. Everyone is close to the work and expected to use good judgment. Agency and autonomy are yours to lose. Be kind. We don't do jerks.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $160,000-$250,000 USD Equity: 0.5-1.5% Location: SF Onsite preferred; open to remote across US and Canada with periodic travel to SF
