Job description

Do you live and breathe paid social, from campaign architecture to creative testing to performance reporting? At Kogan.com, we're looking for a Paid Social Specialist to own our paid social strategy end to end — planning, executing, and optimising campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, and LinkedIn. Reporting to the Head of Loyalty and Performance Marketing, this is a hands-on role for someone with deep Meta expertise and strong analytical instincts, ready to make an impact at a fast-growing Australian eCommerce brand.

In this role you'll be responsible for:

  • Own the end-to-end merchandising workflow, prioritising BAU, projects, and seasonal needs against commercial goals and deadlines.
  • Build and refine best-practice standards, auditing frameworks, and dashboards to monitor navigation, search, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Act as the escalation point for workflow blockers, ambiguous requests, and competing priorities across the business.
  • Report on merchandising performance and KPIs, analysing engagement metrics (CTR, bounce rate, search performance) to recommend course corrections.
  • Lead the merchandising roadmap, cascading priorities and driving structured communication to resolve systemic issues.
  • Act as the central liaison with Purchasing, Marketplace, and Engineering, leading discussions on solutions, enhancements, and prioritisation.
  • Mentor and guide the Merchandising team, scaling best practice and acting as the subject matter authority on complex issues.

To be successful in this role, you should be:

  • Degree qualified in Marketing, Business, eCommerce, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading merchandising, content, or digital trading workflows, ideally within Retail or eCommerce.
  • Strong analytical skills, with confidence turning data and dashboards into clear recommendations.
  • A solid understanding of site navigation, search, and customer journey principles in an eCommerce context.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable providing structured updates and leading discussions across teams.
  • A proactive team leader with experience mentoring others while staying close to day-to-day execution.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to balance competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
