ShipMonk is hiring an Operations Supervisor – Night Shift to lead a team of approximately 25–30 associates at our Fort Worth fulfillment center.

We ship thousands of orders every day for more than 1,500 ecommerce brands, and strong night-shift leadership is critical to keeping that operation moving.

You'll be responsible for keeping your team focused, productive, safe, and aligned while making real-time decisions that directly impact our ability to deliver for our merchants.

About the role

You'll own your department: the people, the processes, and the numbers.

As a Night Shift Operations Supervisor, you'll be the floor-level leader your team looks to for direction, decisions, coaching, and support throughout the shift.

What your night actually looks like

  • Start the shift with a team huddle and set clear priorities and expectations
  • Lead, coach, and develop approximately 25–30 warehouse associates
  • Monitor productivity, throughput, quality, accuracy, attendance, and safety in real time
  • Adjust labor and workflow as volume and priorities change
  • Coach associates directly on the floor and address performance issues early
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with other departments when problems arise
  • Use performance data to identify root causes and improve results
  • Train and onboard new associates
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, equipment standards, sanitation, and safety
  • Ensure a strong handoff between shifts by clearly communicating results, risks, and outstanding issues

What you'll need

Required

  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in warehouse operations, distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, logistics, or a related environment
  • Strong coaching and people-leadership skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced operation
  • Comfort using data and KPIs to manage performance
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work an overnight/night-shift schedule
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime based on business needs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

  • Experience with warehouse management or inventory systems
  • Degree or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or other continuous-improvement experience

What success looks like

In your first 30 days: You know your team, understand the operation, and know the KPIs that drive your department.

In 90 days: Your team understands expectations, you're consistently managing performance, and you're identifying opportunities to improve the shift.

In year one: You've built a reliable, high-performing operation, developed people on your team, and demonstrated your ability to take on greater responsibility as ShipMonk continues to grow.
