Job description

We are looking for a Paid Search Specialist who will run and grow our paid search across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. This is a hands-on role inside our in-house Performance team: you build the accounts, write the ads, manage the budgets and own the results. You will work in a tandem with our current Google Ads specialist, sharing the search stack between you, and alongside colleagues who own Meta, Reddit, X, Amazon and DV360. FTMO is a global leader in the trading industry, known for setting high standards in trader education and support. Our search is not e-commerce: we sell one product, the FTMO Challenge, to traders in dozens of markets, in a high-competition and policy-sensitive category where intent, compliance and account structure decide who wins. As we expand into new products and markets, we need a search specialist who can bring that discipline to our accounts.

What will you do?

  • Own the day-to-day of our paid search across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads: campaign structure, keywords and match types, negatives, ad copy and assets, bidding, audiences and budget pacing. You are the operator, not the coordinator.
  • Own the performance: you watch spend, CPA and downstream quality every day, spot conversion leaks early and act on them before they show up in a monthly report.
  • Keep the accounts healthy: clean structures, consistent naming conventions, correct tracking parameters, exclusions that actually exclude, and campaigns that are ready for the next market or product launch.
  • Run the search testing roadmap: ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies and structural tests. You build the test, deploy it, read the result and say clearly whether it worked.
  • Work in tandem with our Google Ads specialist: you share ownership of the search stack, compare notes, cover for each other and push the standard of both accounts up together.
  • Partner with the Campaign Manager, Creative and Product Marketing teams to turn campaign briefs into search that delivers, and feed back what search intent data tells us about our traders.
  • Care about tracking: you know how a click travels from the SERP through GTM and into GA4 and our internal data, and you notice when a parameter is missing before anyone else does.
  • Stay ahead of search: AI Max, Performance Max, AI Overviews, changes in how traders discover products. You follow the shifts, test what matters and ignore the noise.

What do we expect from you?

  • 3+ years of hands-on paid search experience, agency or in-house, on accounts you built and optimised yourself.
  • Solid working experience with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. You know both platforms from the inside: structure, bidding, audiences, scripts or rules, import and sync between the two.
  • Search experience beyond e-commerce is a strong plus. Fintech, trading, iGaming, SaaS, subscription or any direct-response category with a strict CPA target and a product that is not a shopping feed. Pure Shopping and feed-based optimisation alone will not be enough here.
  • Direct-response mindset. You measure success in purchases, CPA and payback, not clicks or impression share.
  • Strong analytical skills. You are comfortable in spreadsheets, GA4 and Looker Studio, and you can read data critically instead of trusting the platform dashboard by default.
  • Working knowledge of tracking: GTM, conversion tags, UTM parameters and where things typically break.
  • Fluent English (is a must). Czech or Slovak is a plus, not a requirement.
  • Attention to detail and ownership mentality. You take pride in tidy accounts and you take full responsibility for their results.
  • Basic AI usage is expected. The ability to use complex prompting (e.g., in Claude) for ad copy variations, keyword research, scripts or reporting automation is a massive advantage.
  • A genuine curiosity about trading, financial markets and our global community. Previous experience in finance or a regulated industry is a plus, not a must.
