Job description

About Irregular

Irregular is the first frontier security lab with the mission of protecting the world in the time of increasingly capable and sophisticated AI systems. We build next-generation defenses through high-fidelity research platforms that simulate and monitor real-world AI security scenarios. As AI systems become more powerful, we focus on staying ahead of emerging threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring these transformative technologies can be deployed safely and securely.

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive, and discreet Personal Assistant to support Irregular’s CTO and Co-Founder across his personal and professional life. This is a hands-on role with a high degree of ownership and autonomy. Approximately 70% of the role focuses on personal matters, household and family coordination, travel, and day-to-day logistics. The remaining 30% involves calendar management and professional and administrative support. You’ll anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and make sure things get done, from everyday errands to complex arrangements. The role requires sound judgment, absolute discretion, and flexibility to respond outside standard working hours when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Personal Support (~70%)

  • Manage personal matters and errands end-to-end, including appointments, transportation, special projects, and ad hoc requests.
  • Coordinate household operations, service providers, and vendors, ensuring reliable execution and follow-through.
  • Manage family logistics and children’s schedules, including school administration, after-school activities, and appointments.
  • Plan and coordinate personal and business travel, including flights, accommodation, transportation, visas, and detailed itineraries. Handle changes and unexpected issues as they arise.
  • Organize personal events and activities, taking ownership of planning, coordination, and execution.

Professional Support (~30%)

  • Own the CTO’s work and personal calendars, anticipating scheduling conflicts, managing priorities, and protecting time for focused work.
  • Coordinate internal meetings across the company and external meetings with partners, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage expense reports, invoices, and billing for personal and professional matters, working with the Operations team where relevant.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in a similar role in a fast-paced environment, ideally supporting senior executives.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with reliable follow-through across multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to take ownership, anticipate needs, and solve problems independently with minimal guidance.
  • Sound judgment and absolute discretion when handling sensitive personal, family, and business information.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with family members, colleagues, service providers, and vendors.
  • Ability to stay calm, adapt quickly, and prioritize effectively as plans and needs change.
  • Fluent Hebrew and English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to handle personal errands and household logistics hands-on, and availability outside standard working hours when required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a senior administrative or operational role in the IDF, such as Head of Bureau or Chief of Staff.
  • Experience using AI tools and productivity apps to streamline planning, coordination, and administrative work.
  • Experience working in a startup or technology company.

Why work at Irregular

  • Mission-driven work: The opportunity to work on what the founders describe as “the defining problems of AI security” and to build the defenses that will keep advanced AI secure for the world.
  • Elite, talent-dense team: Work alongside AI scientists, top cyber experts, and senior leaders from the world’s most prestigious institutions. The culture emphasizes curiosity, high standards, and intellectual rigor.
  • Resources & backing: Backed by top-tier investors (Sequoia, Redpoint) with significant funding ($80M), and already profitable, providing strong stability and runway.
  • Work policy: Hybrid workspace in Tel Aviv, Israel. Most roles are listed as “In-Office” or hybrid with a typical expectation of on-site presence.
  • Hiring process: A structured, multi-stage process designed to reduce bias and allow candidates to showcase their strengths.
