Job description

You will be part of a dedicated team that thrives under pressure, adapts quickly, and takes pride in making a genuine difference to patients’ lives Working as a Pharmacy dispenser supporting the supply of CMBP in a specialist Private pharmacy. This is a niche role in a growing area. The successful candidate will be working alongside specialist Clinical Pharmacists to make CMBP more accessible for all patients. What will you be doing?

  • Receiving and validating prescriptions ready for a clinical check.
  • Processing patient information appropriately.
  • Supporting the Responsible Pharmacist & Technicians in the daily operations of the Pharmacist.
  • Being the first point of contact for any queries to the Pharmacy.
  • Maintaining relevant records for the supply of CMBP.
  • Maintaining stock and security of any CMBP on site.
  • Maintaining communication of prescription to the Department of Health to meet Regulatory Requirements.
  • Supporting governance in the Pharmacy to ensure the pharmacy is operating as safely as possible.

What do you need?

  • A UK qualified Pharmacy dispenser
  • Ideally Undertaken CPD-accredited medical cannabis educational programme. Through this will be provided for the successful candidate
  • Self-motivated individual with high levels of attention to detail, able to work accurately, identifying errors quickly and easily
  • Experience in working in the pharmacy dispensary either primary and/or secondary environment
  • Has attention to detail, patience and the ability to remain calm during stressful situations
  • Excellence in communication skills with staff, patients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Professional, ethical and committed to providing excellent customer care
  • Excellent computer literacy with good working knowledge of office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
