Role Overview:

Role: PRINCIPAL QA SW ENGINEER
We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Test Engineer to validate end-to-end solutions across modern data center and 5G networking environments. This role combines manual and automated testing, ensuring high-quality delivery of IP fabric-based solutions through robust validation frameworks developed in Python and Go (Golang).
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for complex networking solutions (L2/L3, IP Fabric, EVPN/VXLAN)
- Validate 5G and data center architectures, including integration, scalability, and performance testing
- Build and maintain automation frameworks using Python and Golang
- Perform manual testing for new features, exploratory validation, and edge-case scenarios
- Develop end-to-end solution validation, including interoperability and system-level testing
- Automate regression, functional, and performance test suites
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across network, system, and application layers
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases
- Analyze logs, packet captures, and system behavior to identify root cause issues
- Support CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing strategy.

Required Skills
Technical
- Strong programming skills in:
- Python (must-have)
- Golang (preferred / strong plus)
- Solid understanding of:
- Data center networking (Leaf-Spine, IP Fabric, Clos architectures)
- Protocols: BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, TCP/IP
- Experience in 5G technologies (Core, RAN, or transport network validation)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Test automation frameworks
- Linux systems and scripting
- Proficiency in:
- Packet analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump)
- Debugging distributed systems and network issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Exposure to cloud-native and container environments (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Knowledge of network virtualization and SDN
- Familiarity with test frameworks (pytest, Robot Framework, custom frameworks)
- Understanding of telecom standards and 5G architecture
