This position is 100% remote anywhere in the US

Overview:
Responsible for providing primary presales assistance to the AMER region sales executives. Provide technical overview and product demonstrations to prospects. Architect solutions to meet the prospects needs. Demonstrate solutions for MFX, ZPSaver, DTS Solutions. Perform proofs of concept on customer systems.
What you will do:
- Collaborate and provide presales support to the AMER sales team for Syncsort/DTS
- Deliver Precisely Syncsort technical presentations to qualified prospective customers
- Deliver customized product demonstrations
- Deliver Proofs of Concept (POC) on prospects systems
- Perform Analysis for savings using ZPSaver
- Provide the expertise to help the prospect see the value of the expanded suite of products
- Provide backup for the Precisely Global presales team
- Coordinate with Product Management and Development for product direction
- Provide presales support as a technical advisor to the Channel Partners and enable them and assist the as they sell to their customers
- Understand key business problems and demonstrate how Precisely Solutions can be utilized to solve them
- Staying current on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators between the company and its competitors
- Participate in partner meetings as part of the partner business planning process & QBR’s
What we are looking for:
- 5 years + technical presales experience
- 5 years experience with IBM Mainframe (Z/OS)
- Able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, strong technical skills, sales situation awareness and good time management skills
- Comfortable and capable performing product presentations to varied audience including C level
- Work from home with travel required with this position (20%+)
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or other related disciplines
- Experience with cloud computing platforms
