Job description
AHEAD is seeking a detail-oriented IT Procurement Specialist. This role requires a solid understanding of the P2P (Procure-to-Pay) process and strong coordination skills to manage orders, vendor interactions, and billing workflows effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Place all orders in Services Procurement Queue report
- Place all Microsoft CSP orders
- Follow up on order confirmations for software and hardware necessary for services engagements
- Respond to chatters/emails in a timely manner
- Verify appropriate terms and conditions on signed customer documents
- Confirm vendor and customer billing schedules
- Verify work at risk exceptions
- Work with managed services contracts team on amendments
- Work with PMO and customer success teams on change orders
- Other duties as necessary
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IT procurement.
- Strong understanding of P2P (Procure-to-Pay) processes.
- Experience working with major IT vendors like Cisco, HP, Dell, Palo Alto, Aruba, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in using procurement/order management systems and tools
- Excellent communication, follow-up, and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
