Job description

About Venn

Venn is the fastest-growing B2B fintech in Canada.

We're on a mission to transform business banking for Canadian entrepreneurs and are looking to hire A-players interested in disrupting traditional banking practices. As the ONLY digital banking platform in Canada offering a truly modern solution, we have seen accelerated growth—scaling to support more than 10,000 Canadian businesses in under two years. Business owners are tired of the big banks’ monopoly and are looking for modern tools that replace the legacy systems that have been their only option for over 100 years.

We've raised over $26.5M from Tier 1 investors such as Gradient, Left Lane Capital, Intact, and XYZ Venture Capital. Interested in redefining the future of banking in Canada? Look no further.

What you’ll be doing

  • Driving the creation of exceptional products and user experiences by blending business insight, creative product thinking, and technical know-how.
  • Play a key role in shaping the roadmap and future of the product, providing strong direction and input across product and design decisions.
  • Empowering thousands of companies on Venn to better manage their finances by expanding and enhancing our core product capabilities.
  • Using data, experimentation, and real customer feedback to continuously refine and evolve the product.
  • Working closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Shaping the overall vision, strategy, and operational processes that will scale product management as Venn grows.

What we’re looking for

  • 4+ years of product management experience, successfully taking technical products from concept to launch.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a deep understanding of how to use data and experimentation to drive decisions.
  • Experience navigating complex trade-offs and prioritizing effectively in fast-moving environments.
  • Skilled at collaborating with diverse stakeholders and large cross-functional teams.
  • Clear and confident communicator, both in writing and speaking.

Bonus Points

  • Experience at an early-stage or fast-growing startup.
  • Experience at a fintech.

Venn is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, age, or disability.

This role is for an existing vacancy and we are looking to fill this role immediately.

Why work at Venn

  • Culture & Values: Venn emphasizes a culture of ownership ("act like owners"), speed ("move fast"), intellectual curiosity ("challenge assumptions"), and teamwork ("win as one"). They seek diverse, passionate people.
  • Work Environment: In-office workspace based in Toronto, Ontario. Employees work from physical offices (not remote-first).

  • Growth Stage: As a Series A company with significant funding and rapid adoption (10,000+ businesses, $3B+ transacted), this is an early-stage growth opportunity where employees can have outsized influence.
  • Team Size: Small team (11–50 employees) with 18 open roles, indicating a scaling phase where new hires will be foundational to the company's trajectory.
