About Mistral

Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms. We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.

The Role

As Product Monetization & Pricing Lead, you will shape and execute pricing strategies for Mistral AI’s product suite. You will work across Product, Engineering, Sales and Finance to align our pricing with customer value and ensure our monetization supports both product‑led growth and enterprise deals. This role reports to the Head of Product Operations and is based in Paris with hybrid flexibility.

What You Will Do

  • Design charge metrics and pricing tiers (usage, seats, subscriptions) for new and existing products.
  • Build financial models, run A/B tests and analyse usage data to optimise pricing and packaging.
  • Translate technical features and AI economics into clear value propositions and pricing narratives.
  • Benchmark competitors and monitor market trends to keep our pricing competitive.
  • Enable Sales, Marketing and Finance teams with pricing guidelines and training.
  • Establish processes and dashboards to track revenue, margins and adoption.

What We're Looking For

  • 8–10 years’ experience in GTM, product or strategy roles in deep‑tech or SaaS companies, with at least 5 years pricing experience
  • Proven record designing pricing strategies for technical products (APIs, cloud or developer tools).
  • Deep understanding of usage‑, seat‑ and license‑based pricing models; familiarity with PLG and enterprise motions.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills; comfortable with data‑driven experiments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to influence without authority.
  • Bonus: exposure to AI/LLM pricing levers (fine‑tuning, custom models) and fast‑growth tech startups.

Hiring process

  • Introduction call – 30 min
  • Hiring manager interview – 45 min
  • Interview with the Revenue Operations team – 30 min
  • Interview with the Finance team – 30 min
  • Deep‑dive interview with case study presentation – 60 min
  • Culture‑fit discussion – 30 min
  • Reference checks

Location & Remote The position is based in our Paris HQ offices and we encourage going to the office as much as we can (at least 3 days per week) to create bonds and smooth communication. Our remote policy aims to provide flexibility, improve work-life balance and increase productivity. Each manager can decide the amount of days worked remotely based on autonomy and a specific context (e.g. more flexibility can occur during summer). In any case, employees are expected to maintain regular communication with their teams and be available during core working hours.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.
