You would be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of finished product units by performing detailed inspections, identifying defects, and removing non-conforming products from each batch. This role plays a critical part in upholding quality standards and supporting the organization’s mission of improving the lives of animals and those who love them.
The Basics
Location: Albany, Ohio (onsite) Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time as a Temporary Employee Schedule: Pick your schedule ... minimum of 4 hours/week, or up to 40 hours/week ... Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM ... Project will start on September 14, 2026 and is anticipated to run through January 2027 Compensation: $18.00 per hour Benefits: Temporary Employee - Not Eligible for Benefits
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Visually inspect final container products (vials, syringes, ampules, etc.) for particles, defects, and irregularities
- Segregate and flag non-conforming units per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Document inspection results in batch records/quality systems
- Report defects or anomalies to Quality personnel
- Maintain a clean, organized inspection workstation
- Follow gowning, safety, and cGMP requirements
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to pass visual acuity screening (near vision, color discrimination)
- Strong attention to detail; comfortable with repetitive tasks
- Prior manufacturing/production experience is a plus, but not required
- Extended standing/sitting at an inspection station
- Ability to wear cleanroom gowning where required
Pay Range $18—$18 USD
