Why work at Wingtra AG

  • Culture: Employees ("Wingtranauts") describe a transparent, data-driven environment where "arguments trump opinions, and data and statistics trump arguments"; by default, every employee has access to everything. The company emphasizes curiosity, continuous improvement, and a "bias for action."
  • Recognition: Ranked among the best start-ups in Switzerland (2nd overall, 1st in the drone category, 2020).
  • Work model: Mix of on-site roles (engineering and manufacturing in Zurich) and remote roles (e.g., Head of Sales US West is remote, US-based). Open roles include Quality and Incoming Technician, Working Student Quality, and Regional Sales Manager Canada.
  • Team: ~125–200 employees across 24 countries; 30+ in R&D; a flat, human-first environment that "works for humans."
  • Employer ratings (per LinkedIn, 55 reviews): Overall 3.4/5; Work-Life Balance 3.7, Culture 3.5, Compensation 3.1, Career 3.0 — candid feedback suggesting strong culture but room for improvement in pay and career progression.
  • Note: Wingtra does not accept agency resumes or unsolicited referral fees.
