- Translate the regional business agenda into actionable people priorities, aligned with our global HR strategy.
- Provide expert guidance on local labour laws and cultural nuances so that HR practices are compliant and effective across all markets in your scope, in partnership with the Global Labour Law Manager.
Activate and localise global HR initiatives
- Lead the rollout and implementation of global programmes in areas such as employee engagement, performance management, and well-being.
- Gather feedback from the region to help improve and iterate on global tools and strategies, ensuring they are fit for purpose.

- Support the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring a positive and consistent experience from onboarding to offboarding.
- Drive a proactive retention strategy for your region using data, stay interviews and exit interviews, and partner with managers on targeted action plans.
Drive talent and performance excellence
- Coach managers on navigating performance improvement plans (PIPs) and on holding effective performance and development conversations.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and People Services Delivery to support workforce planning and key hires within the region.
- Support employer branding initiatives to position Aleph as a top employer in your markets.
- Collaborate with our Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to bring expertise in rewards, talent, and people services to your business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with global and regional Finance on the annual budget process and the quarterly Rolling Forecast.
Maintain operational excellence
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of employee data in the HRIS (meHRaki, powered by Workday) for your region.
- Oversee key HR administrative processes, such as Job Requisitions, Creating Positions and Terminations, ensuring they are efficient, compliant, and deliver a seamless experience for employees and managers.
- Partner with the global HRBP when necessary.

- Regional expertise: Strong knowledge of labour and social security laws in key markets (for example, India’s Labour Codes).
- Pragmatic and proactive: A hands-on, execution-focused mindset and the initiative to solve problems. You are comfortable managing both strategic and operational tasks.
- Strong communicator and partner: You build trust quickly and act as an effective sparring partner for managers and leaders. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
