Job description

monday.com is the AI work platform powering the most ambitious teams. 250,000+ customers across departments use us to bring people, workflows, and AI agents together on one flexible platform where AI doesn't just assist, it executes. We move fast, build things that matter, and foster an ownership-driven culture where you're empowered to shape how organizations work and outpace their competition.

We are looking for a talented Renewal Manager to engage with our customers year-round -driving on-time renewals, expanding accounts through cross-sell and upsell, and championing retention with sharp attention to detail. You’ll be a key member of our CRO organization, joining the global Renewals Team, where you’ll help shape and continuously improve our playbooks and processes in collaboration with teams across the company.

About The Role

  • Own your book end-to-end, independently and with full accountability: from proactive outreach and value conversations to negotiation, close, and confirmation, making sure everything under your book runs smoothly
  • Negotiate renewal terms that align customer needs with company goals, including multi-year commitments and expansion where it fits
  • Partner with Customer Success, Finance, and Sales to retain contracts, mitigate risk, and support account growth
  • Proactively identify opportunity signals and generate expansion opportunities (upsell, add-on, cross-sell)
  • Maintain a rolling 90-day renewal forecast by segment and/or territory
  • Handle escalations related to contract questions, negotiations, and requests
  • Work closely with our Partners to maximize renewal potential
  • Identify process gaps and enhance the renewals playbook to maximize retention and efficiency
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Salesforce records at all times - including opportunity stages, renewal notes, and forecast data -to ensure reliable reporting and full pipeline visibility

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a client-facing role, ideally in SaaS
  • Strong negotiation, objection handling, and value-selling skills, with the ability to present a clear value proposition to different stakeholders, including senior decision-makers
  • Strong retention techniques: consultative discovery, outcome-driven questioning, risk identification, and turning at-risk accounts around
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented team player
  • Empathetic, creative, problem-solving approach to work
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment An advantage to have:
  • Experience owning a renewal process end-to-end, including forecasting and multi-year deals
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally (Sales, Finance, Legal, CS) to hit shared goals
  • Extremely hands-on in Salesforce (or an equivalent CRM): disciplined with comments, next steps, and forecast accuracy
  • Strong, proven ability to work with AI: building or improving flows, using agents, or running tasks with Claude or equivalent tools, with concrete examples of the impact
  • Experience building or improving playbooks, automations, or AI agents that others on the team adopt
  • Experience with multiple regions, segments, or languages in a global environment

What monday.com can offer you:

  • Work on a multi-product suite powered by advanced AI, where what you ship reaches hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide
  • Competitive salary, benefits, bonus potential, and equity eligibility for many roles — we believe people should share in our success
