Responsibilities:

  • Drive the requirements engineering process throughout the entire software lifecycle, from ideation to production deployment.
  • Elicit, analyze, and align business requirements with stakeholders and domain experts.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed functional specifications.
  • Support the Product Owner in backlog refinement and prioritization.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to ensure shared understanding of requirements and business objectives.
  • Assess the impact of functional and technical changes on existing processes and systems.
  • Support testing activities, defect analysis, and business acceptance.
  • Ensure clear and consistent documentation of requirements and solution artifacts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Requirements Engineer, Business Analyst, or System Analyst.
  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record in analyzing and specifying requirements for complex software solutions.
  • Strong experience in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Solid SQL knowledge and understanding of data models, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Technical understanding of end-to-end processes and distributed system landscapes.
  • Experience working in agile software development environments (Scrum).
  • Fluent German and good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Senior-level professional with a high degree of independence and the ability to become productive quickly.

Advantages:

  • Experience with lending, loan origination, or online financing platforms.
  • Knowledge of loan application, credit assessment, credit decisioning, or loan servicing processes.
  • Experience with Camunda, or comparable process modeling tools.
  • Experience in software testing, business acceptance testing, and defect analysis.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience working in distributed or international teams.
