We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Roadway Design team in St. Louis, MO. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer with roadway design experience who is looking to leverage their technical expertise in roadway design, grow professionally, and contribute to meaningful transportation projects as part of a 100% employee-owned company. In this position, you will:
- Support the planning, design, and delivery of roadway design projects.
- Contribute to the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
- Perform engineering analyses and design. Prepare design calculations, plans, specifications, estimates, and other project deliverables.
- Apply engineering techniques, methods, and design criteria.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client objectives.
- Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and specifications.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- May be involved in the development and mentorship of early-career engineers and technical staff.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive civil engineering experience in roadway/highway design
- Experience with Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads Designer.
