Job description

About the role

As Sales Manager for the French Market at Amenitiz, your primary objective is to ensure the day-to-day execution, coaching, and operational stability of a small, focused French sales team based in our new Lyon hub. You will be a hands-on manager - present in the detail, close to the numbers, and invested in each person's development.

You are expected to make the team work: holding the cadence, removing blockers, running the pipeline, and making sure activity translates into results.

We serve independent hoteliers across Europe: family hotels, boutique properties, and small chains that have long been underserved by technology designed for large chains. You will be leading people who sell something that genuinely makes a difference for hotel owners.

This is a newly created role opening our first commercial hub in France. You won't start from a blank page: you'll inherit an existing customer base, pipeline, tools, sales methodology, and the full support of the wider commercial team in Barcelona.

Your mission

  • Build and grow the Lyon team: recruit, train, and manage a team of SDRs, BDRs, and AEs
  • Run daily execution: manage pipeline health, call activity, and meeting volume across the team
  • Coach in the detail: listen to calls, give real-time feedback, and identify patterns that slow conversion
  • Hire and onboard: bring in the right profiles and get them productive quickly
  • Hold performance: track individual KPIs at every level, have honest conversations early, and support people to improve
  • Act as the link between the team and leadership: surface what is working, flag what is not, and translate direction into daily habits
  • Drive pipeline generation through a mixed approach (roughly 80% outbound, 20% inbound), with a short sales cycle (typically 1-2 weeks, up to one month)
  • Build a repeatable sales playbook to accelerate and scale the French market
  • Maintain HubSpot hygiene: ensure the team logs accurately so pipeline data can be trusted
  • Collaborate with Growth, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success, and align outreach quality with closing requirements between SDRs, BDRs, and AEs

About you

  • 3+ years of experience managing a sales team, ideally in a SaaS, tech, or B2B environment (independent businesses/SMEs)
  • Native French speaker with strong written and verbal English (B1/B2 minimum)
  • Confirmed skills in outbound prospecting (cold calling) and short sales-cycle selling
  • Comfortable with HubSpot and Aircall (or similar tools)
  • You are a coach first: you get energy from developing people, not from being the best seller in the room
  • Strong organisational skills - you can manage a small team across multiple roles without losing track of the detail
  • Comfortable in a performance-oriented environment where targets are clear and accountability is real
  • Entrepreneurial, resilient, and autonomous, with genuine appetite for building a team "from scratch"
  • Experience in hospitality tech, online travel, or B2B SaaS is an advantage

Our offer

  • Competitive OTE - base salary plus performance-based commission
  • Stock options with a progressive vesting schedule
  • Comprehensive health insurance
  • On-demand salary access - no need to wait until the end of the month
  • Flexible benefits - save on meals, childcare, transportation, and training with our tailored remuneration options
  • Any book, purchased for you, plus access to a shared team library
  • An international team of 35+ nationalities based in one of Europe's leading tech hubs
