Job description

About Us

Legora is redefining how legal work gets done. Not built for lawyers, built with them. We work alongside the world’s best legal teams, who expect excellence, precision, and speed, and we hold ourselves to the same bar.

Our AI-native workspace lets legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision. By analysing thousands of documents in minutes and powering end-to-end workflows, we cut through complexity, teams can focus on what matters: judgment, strategy, and outcomes.

1,000+ customers across 50+ countries trust us, including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, White & Case, Dentons, and Barclays. We’ve scaled to $100M+ in ARR, with teams across Europe, North America and APAC, and continue to expand through acquisitions including Qura, Walter AI and Graceview.

We partner with world-class performers: including Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees, Ludvig Åberg (and his caddie), and campaigns featuring Jude Law.

Joining Legora means three things.

  • We lean in: ownership over titles, outcomes over intentions.
  • We fight for excellence: high standards, direct, ego-free feedback.
  • We grow together: as a team and with our customers.

Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts. If you’re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place.

The Role

We’re hiring a Senior Accountant to help scale our accounting function. You’ll play a critical role in our close and reporting processes, partnering closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, timely, and decision-useful financial information. This is a senior, high-impact role with real ownership. You’ll own key accounting areas, improve processes and controls, and help build a scalable, audit-ready accounting foundation in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Own and support key aspects of the monthly and quarterly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis
  • Manage assigned operational accounting areas (e.g., cash, accruals, payroll, capitalized commissions, fixed assets, or revenue-related balances)
  • Prepare financial analyses and reporting packages for Finance leadership and FP&A
  • Partner with FP&A to ensure alignment between accounting results, forecasts, and business drivers
  • Improve and automate close processes, internal controls, and reporting workflows
  • Maintain compliance with global tax requirements, including indirect tax, direct tax, and transfer pricing.
  • Support audit and review processes by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives and ensure accurate financial reporting

Who You Are

  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth or dynamic environments
  • Experience from a technology or start-up environment
  • Previous experience with IFRS or K3, and with multi-entity structures and consolidation
  • Hands-on experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable owning work end to end
  • Strong communicator who collaborates well across Finance and the business

Nice to Have

  • Big 4 or high-growth technology company experience
  • CPA or other accounting certification
  • Experience with NetSuite, FloQast, or similar tools
  • Exposure to revenue or product accounting
  • Interest in automation, systems, and AI-enabled workflows
