Arcesium seeks Senior Analyst to join our Trade Accounting and Operations (TAO)team, which is responsible for various post-trade activities. One of the core daily Objectives of TAO is to ensure the post-trade activities happen in a timely manner and to record an accurate view of positions, cash, and P&L. You will work closely with counterparties, fund administrators, and investment manager to achieve this and other the primary (GAV/NAV) reconciliation).
What You’ll Do
- You will be accountable for your work output: daily trade, position, Swap MTMs & cash reconciliation against the prime broker/custodians/administrator.
- You will be responsible for timely reconciliations and settlements of OTC products /swap resets.
- Investigate and explain P&L movements to investment manager or other internal teams and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to identified P&L outages.
- Liaison with internal groups like Pricing, Middle Office, and Collateral Management to resolve discrepancies and/or respond to internal queries.
- Provide adequate support for outstanding breaks for finalization of month- end reconciliations.
- Ensure all accounting activities are captured correctly and book appropriate adjustment towards trial balance preparation for trading entities.
- You will be working on reconciliations of GAV/NAV with fund administrators.
- Collaborate with technology teams on special projects, bespoke reporting requirements and UAT
- Active interaction with clients around deliverables and addressing any open queries.
What You’ll Need
- An MBA (finance)/CFA /CA or an equivalent qualification
- 4-8 years’ of experience in fund accounting and operations
- Experience working with verity of financial instruments spanning across geographies working proficiency in MS excel
- A drive work with minimal supervision and the ability to work well teams.
- An eye for detail and champion process efficiencies
- Ability to communicate effectively and adapt communication style to suit to different audiences.
