We are seeking a Senior HR Operations Specialist with motivation to speed up their learning curve by joining a global HR operations team with responsibility to craft and handle policies, processes and programs in 5 countries! This role will affect the every employee experiences of 500+ Rovians and gets to work on a large integration project as well as support the consolidation of several HR programs.

This is a fixed-term position covering a family leave until the end of August 2027.

You will have impact and fun at work by:

  • Providing day-to-day on-demand support to our employees and supervisors with all of their employment and people related queries.
  • Maintaining and developing the end-to-end employee lifecycle: onboarding, accurate employee records in the HRIS, employment documents, payroll, offboarding etc.
  • Collaborating with experienced HR operations team on development projects (e.g. HR policies and operating procedures, HRIS development, employee data management, benefit management ) and partner with other members from People, IT, Legal, Finance teams.
  • Act as a payroll contact and preparing data for external providers in Finland and Canada, and actively participate in an ongoing Finnish payroll vendor change project.
  • Having a steep learning curve and the opportunity to explore HR policies and programs from many different countries while being a part of flat organisation with teams from all around the world.

Experience and skills we are looking for:

  • Solid experience in HR administrative work as a payroll contact person (ideally throughout the whole employee lifecycle) with an understanding on developing employee experience.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle information with discretion in a high pace environment.
  • Good knowledge of Finnish labour legislations and law.
  • Professional English and Finnish language skills both written and spoken, other relevant languages considered a great asset.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and modern standards and passion for further learning and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Customer- and service-oriented with emotional intelligence  and eager to help foster a diverse work environment.
  • Good communication and collaborations skills to partner with internal customers and external stakeholders.

It would be nice if you also have the following skills:

  • Experience in the HRIS we use (Hibob).
  • Experience collaborating with external suppliers and outsourced HR services, e.g. Edenred, Payroll providers, etc.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
