WHOOP is hiring a Senior Manager of Performance Marketing to manage global performance marketing programs that drive sustainable member growth. This role will partner closely with Brand Media, Marketing Analytics, Creative, Marketing Strategy & Operations, Product, and Finance teams to maximize marketing effectiveness and business impact. The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer who thrives in fast-paced environments, balances strategic thinking with operational excellence, and is passionate about leveraging insights to accelerate growth at scale.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage performance marketing programs across key paid acquisition channels, including paid social, search, video, and emerging platforms to drive efficient member acquisition and revenue growth.
- Develop and manage channel budgets, forecasting models, and investment strategies to optimize customer acquisition cost (CAC), return on ad spend (ROAS), and overall marketing efficiency.
- Allocate and optimize media spend across global campaigns, markets, channels, and audiences to maximize business outcomes while balancing efficiency and growth objectives.
- Partner with Marketing Analytics to establish measurement frameworks, evaluate incrementality, and generate actionable insights that inform growth strategies and investment decisions.
- Collaborate with Creative, Brand Media, and Marketing Strategy & Operations teams to develop testing roadmaps, improve creative performance, and enhance audience targeting and messaging.
- Identify and evaluate new acquisition opportunities, platforms, technologies, and partnerships that can unlock scalable growth.
- Partner cross-functionally with Growth Product and Lifecycle Marketing teams to improve attribution, conversion tracking, and end-to-end member acquisition experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of experience in performance marketing, growth marketing, digital acquisition, or related disciplines, with a proven track record of driving measurable business results.
- Experience managing and optimizing large-scale paid media budgets across multiple acquisition channels.
- Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data to inform decision-making, measure performance, and prioritize opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to build forecasting models, manage budgets, and communicate business impact to senior stakeholders.
- Experience partnering effectively with cross-functional teams including Marketing Analytics, Product, Creative, Finance, Brand Media, and Engineering.
- Strong understanding of attribution methodologies, experimentation frameworks, conversion optimization, and marketing measurement best practices.
- Experience in direct-to-consumer (DTC) businesses and a demonstrated ability to succeed in fast-moving, high-growth environments where priorities evolve quickly.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, prioritize competing initiatives, and execute with a high degree of ownership.
- Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.
This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 - $170,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.
In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.
These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
