Job description

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role: As Senior Manager, Technical Recruiting, you will own and scale Crusoe's technical recruiting function during one of the most pivotal growth periods in the company's history. Reporting to the Director of Technical Talent Acquisition, you'll set the strategic direction for how Crusoe attracts, engages, and hires top technical talent across Engineering, Infrastructure, AI, Hardware, and Product organizations. This is a senior leadership role requiring both strategic ownership and hands-on execution. You'll build and lead a high-performing team of managers, recruiters, and sourcers; partner directly with executive leadership on org-wide workforce planning; and drive the systems, data, and processes that allow Crusoe to scale hiring efficiently without compromising talent quality. You'll operate as a key strategic partner to Recruiting Operations, Talent Intelligence, and Senior Business Leaders — building a recruiting organization known for both exceptional candidate experience and consistent rigor in hiring high-quality talent.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Set and drive the overall technical recruiting strategy across multiple business units, aligned to company-wide growth and workforce planning goals.
  • Build, lead, and scale a team of Recruiters, and Sourcers — instilling a culture of accountability, coaching, and continuous development.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Director+ and VP level stakeholders on hiring strategy, org design, and talent forecasting.
  • Own recruiting performance across technical orgs, translating pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and recruiter productivity into actionable business insights.
  • Lead adoption of AI and automation in recruiting workflows to increase efficiency without sacrificing candidate quality.
  • Champion structured, inclusive interviewing practices company-wide.
  • Represent Talent Acquisition in hiring strategy conversations, bringing market data and talent intelligence to inform business decisions.
  • Develop scalable playbooks, interview training, and enablement programs that raise consistency and quality across the entire recruiting org.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • 10+ years of technical recruiting experience, including 4+ years leading recruiting leaders/managers (not just individual recruiters) in a high-growth tech environment.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling a recruiting org through a period of hypergrowth, IPO prep, or major expansion.
  • Strong track record advising executive leadership on complex, org-wide hiring and workforce planning strategy.
  • Deep fluency in recruiting data — able to translate metrics into business narrative for senior audiences.
  • Expert-level knowledge of ATS platforms, sourcing technology, and AI-enabled recruiting tools.
  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills; comfortable presenting to and influencing C-suite stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build and lead multi-layered recruiting teams (managers + ICs) in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Bonus Points

  • Experience recruiting for infrastructure, cloud computing, AI/ML, hardware, manufacturing, or data center organizations.
  • Experience partnering with People Analytics or Talent Intelligence functions to build predictive hiring models.
  • History of building enablement programs or recruiting playbooks adopted at the org-wide level.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation and equity packages
  • Restricted Stock Units
  • Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs
  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance
  • Employer contributions to HSA account
  • Paid parental leave
  • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability
  • Professional development & tuition reimbursement
  • Mental health & wellness support
  • Commuter benefits (parking & transit)
  • Cell phone stipend
  • 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary
  • Volunteer time off
  • Global travel insurance & emergency assistance
  • Daily meals allowance
  • Additional perks & programs specific to location

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $175,000 - $215,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
