Job description

Senior Mechanical Engineer Own mechanical R&D for Fleetzero battery modules: From a clean-sheet concept through production-ready design.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be the driving force behind the full mechanical development lifecycle of our battery module products. That means owning designs from initial concept and first-article prototypes, through development testing, design validation, and into high-volume manufacturing. You will work closely with electrical, manufacturing, and systems engineering counterparts to deliver robust, producible hardware on aggressive schedules. This is a hands-on role. You will be building and testing prototypes yourself, running experiments, and iterating quickly. If you are the type of engineer who is equally comfortable at a CAD workstation and a build bench,  this role is for you.

BONUS POINTS

Experience with battery systems, power electronics enclosures, or thermal management for high-energy-density products Background in marine, defense, automotive, or industrial equipment markets Familiarity with IP-rated enclosure design and sealing strategies Experience with liquid cooling systems design and qualification
