Job description

ISEE is seeking a full-time Sr Mechanical engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has several years of work experience and has experienced the product lifecycle (prototyping, alpha design, beta design, production).

Role responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop prototype hardware systems for production
  • Complete drawings and bill of materials for components and assemblies, and lead design reviews
  • Select materials, interact with suppliers and manufacturers, and design for manufacturing

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years relevant industry experience designing products for production
  • Familiarity with GD&T and generation of engineering drawings and documentation
  • Familiarity with CAD Software (Solidworks, Fusion 360, Inventor), CAM processes (HSM Works, Fusion), and basic hand tool experience
  • Passionate about AI, robotics, and self-driving cars
  • Excellent communication skills
  • AV/Robotics/Logistics experience a plus
