his position is for a Sr. Quality Assurance Automation. This position will set the automation strategy and vision for the T2 Enterprise based on existing Playwright, Pytest, and Bitbar implementations.
The automation architecture includes JAVA, Python, C++, Appium, Selenium, and .NET.
Essential Responsibilities
- Educate, promote and drive initiatives to deploy testing into pipelines
- Identify and implement best practice improvements for test automation
- Plan for growth and maintenance of the test automation architecture across three application platform areas.
- Assist with hiring and evaluating automation engineers
- Responsible for some hands-on analysis of failing automated tests and possible test creation for more complex testing.
- Accountable for ensuring automated test assets meet best practice and corporate standards.
- Proficient in other testing and project tools such as JIRA, Confluence and preferably Zephyr Scale.
- Proficient in implementing test suites into a CI/CD pipeline.
- Review requirements and participate in architecture/design reviews with an emphasis on test automation strategy and enforcement of excellent coding standards
- Capable of building, deploying and managing own environment (customizing when required)
- Solid knowledge of computer fundamentals for networking, databases, and algorithms.
- Experienced in quality assurance methodology, SDLC, PCI SFF.
- Self-driven at discovering, analyzing and summarizing problems to promote continuous improvement of projects.
Skills:
- Experience in creating test automation frameworks, pipelines, and processes.
- Experience in working with cross-functional product teams
- Experience creating key test artifacts
- Should know bug-tracking and analysis tools like Jira, EasyBi, Power Bi
- Should have experience in using test management systems (particularly Zephyr Scale or Enterprise)
- Should be comfortable working with tools for API testing (Postman, JMeter etc.)
- Should know basic software development methodologies
- Should be able to work with logs for basic analysis (Kibana preferred)
- Should have experience with databases (connecting to a database, writing simple queries)
- Should be able to work with Version Control (GitHub, SVN)
- English language proficiency: upper-intermediate and above
Qualifications
5+ years of work experience in testing and development in the high-tech sector. 5+ years of experience in test automation.
- Solid knowledge of computer fundamentals for networking, databases, and algorithms.
- Experienced in quality assurance methodology, SDLC, PCI SFF.
- Self-driven at discovering, analyzing and summarizing problems to promote continuous improvement of projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
