Essential Functions
- Assess sales performance and capability needs using stakeholder input, field observations, call analysis, and performance data to identify skill gaps and training priorities.
- Translate sales strategy, business priorities, performance trends, and learning direction into actionable sales training plans and recommendations.
- Advise Sales leaders and cross-functional stakeholders on capability gaps, behavior expectations, readiness risks, and appropriate learning or non-training interventions.
- Lead high-impact sales training initiatives from discovery through design, delivery, reinforcement, and measurement, managing complex priorities and senior stakeholder expectations independently.
- Design and deliver engaging, role-based learning experiences that strengthen critical sales capabilities, including discovery, value articulation, objection handling, customer conversations, and deal execution.
- Build reinforcement and readiness approaches, including manager coaching resources, practice activities, job aids, assessments, and call coaching that support sustained application in the field.
- Lead sales onboarding and readiness approach in partnership with Sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to accelerate new-hire ramp and productivity.
- Leverage Salesforce, Gong, learning platforms, AI, and other available tools and data to identify trends, inform training decisions, reinforce skills, and evaluate application.
- Partner with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and learning partners to develop and maintain relevant, effective, and accessible sales learning resources.
- Establish effectiveness measures and use readiness, adoption, behavior change, and business performance insights to evaluate impact and continuously improve sales training programs.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned based on business needs
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience in sales training, sales enablement, learning and development, or a related field, preferably supporting B2B SaaS or technology sales organizations.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, consultative selling, and the capabilities required for effective sales execution.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex or high-impact sales training initiatives as an individual contributor, with strong influence across Sales leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and consulting skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience using sales and learning technologies, including CRM, conversation intelligence, and learning platforms; Salesforce and Gong experience preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking, business judgment, organizational skills, and ability to operate with autonomy in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in B2B sales, sales leadership, or a customer-facing commercial role.
- Certification or demonstrated expertise in Solution Selling or another consultative sales methodology.
- Experience supporting sales teams within healthcare technology, SaaS, or another complex solution-selling environment.
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance sales training, coaching, or performance insights.
Working Environment
- Nextech operates as a remote work environment within the United States
- Activities require a significant amount of work in front of a computer monitor.
- Long-distance or air travel as needed, not to exceed 5%.
