Job description

We're looking for a Social Insight Analyst with real pharma or healthcare advertising experience to join our analytics team. You'll dig into social media performance, campaign effectiveness, and social listening insights to help shape strategy and improve outcomes for our healthcare and life sciences clients. This isn't a role where you're learning the regulated landscape on the job,  we need someone who already understands how therapeutic context, audience sensitivity, and brand nuance shape what the data actually means. You'll report to the Associate Director of Social Analytics and work closely with account, content, and strategy teams to make sure every campaign decision is backed by clear, credible insight.

Responsibilities:

  • Listen to online conversations among patients, caregivers and HCPs, and spot the trends, tensions and moments that matter for our healthcare and life sciences brands
  • Turn what you find into clear recommendations on messaging, targeting and content, not just a summary of what happened
  • Tell the story behind the numbers in a way account and creative teams can use, and present it to clients with confidence
  • Track how social and organic content performs across Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and beyond, and explain what's working and why
  • Report on website and organic performance alongside social, so the full picture is in one place
  • Build clean, easy-to-read reports and dashboards for internal teams and clients
  • Work side by side with account, content and strategy teams from campaign planning through results
  • Help shape where our analytics practice goes next, from testing new tools to potentially launching surveys and research

Requirements:

  • 2 to 4 years in social media, social insights or marketing analytics, with real experience on pharma or healthcare brands (agency-side is a big plus)
  • Hands-on experience with at least one social listening platform, and an example of an insight you found that changed what a team did
  • A working understanding of how MLR, compliance and audience sensitivity shape healthcare marketing
  • Strong storytelling: you can explain what the data means to people who don't live in spreadsheets
  • Comfort with Excel or Google Sheets and a visualization tool like Tableau, Power BI or Looker Studio
  • A sharp eye for detail and pride in getting the numbers right

You might be: an agency social analyst, a social strategist or community manager who loves the data side, a health PR or medcomms analyst, or a social insights specialist at a healthcare brand.

Nice to have

  • Experience with web analytics like Google Analytics
  • A survey, research or academic background
  • Curiosity about AI tools and how they can speed up reporting

This role is probably not for you if your background is mainly data engineering, BI or clinical and claims analytics, or if you haven't worked on healthcare or pharma marketing yet. We need someone who already knows the landscape.
