ABOUT NIURAL

Niural is the AI-native platform that unifies payroll, compliance, HR, and financial operations into a single platform, enabling companies to hire, pay, and manage teams across 150+ countries with speed, accuracy, and intelligence. Backed by Marathon, M13, and Inspired Capital, Niural is redefining the future of work and intelligent finance.

Why Niural?

At Niural, engineering is at the core of delivering complex financial infrastructure in a way that feels intuitive, reliable, and scalable. As a Frontend Engineer, you will contribute directly to building user-facing experiences that support payroll, payments, and compliance workflows used globally.

You’ll work on meaningful product surfaces where performance, correctness, and user trust matter. This role offers the opportunity to grow technical depth while contributing to production systems that operate at scale.

About the Job

You’ll design and own end-to-end frontend features, contributing to the scalability, performance, and consistency of our platform. You’ll extend our design system, optimize rendering performance, and help shape API contracts to improve user experience.

You’ll lead small initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and proactively improve frontend architecture. This role is for engineers who combine strong technical execution with product awareness and an ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end frontend features with strong focus on scalability and usability.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the design system and shared component libraries.
  • Architect reusable components and enforce consistency across applications.
  • Optimize rendering performance, bundle size, and runtime efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive frontend test coverage.
  • Lead small frontend initiatives or feature pods.
  • Partner with backend engineers to influence API design for optimal UX.
  • Collaborate closely with product and design to shape user flows.
  • Proactively identify UX, performance, and technical debt issues.
  • Own frontend build configuration and CI/CD processes where applicable.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional frontend experience.
  • Strong expertise in React and TypeScript.
  • Experience building scalable component systems.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • State management patterns
  • Rendering lifecycle and optimization
  • Code splitting and lazy loading
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS, Radix UI, Storybook, or similar ecosystems.
  • Solid knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design.
  • Experience with Jest, Cypress, or equivalent testing tools.
  • Experience owning frontend features in production.
  • Strong product mindset with focus on user experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership in small teams or initiatives.
  • Ability to balance delivery speed with long-term maintainability.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary package designed to reward your expertise and contributions.
  • Access to continuous learning and career advancement programs.
  • Opportunities for mentorship and coaching to help you grow in your career.
  • Supportive and collaborative work environment where ideas are valued and teamwork is encouraged.
  • Complimentary snacks and lunch provided to keep you energized throughout the shift.
  • Latest MacBook Pro and a high-performance monitor will be provided to boost your productivity.
  • We’ve partnered with select universities in the US to provide “fast track” admissions to star performers who may want to pursue their Masters in CS in the US.
  • High performers will be sponsored for L1 visas as well as immigrant visas (Green Card) to the US.
