You will be:
- Owning solution architecture for assigned workstreams or technical domains throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Producing High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
- Participating in Architecture Review Boards, design reviews, and governance activities.
- Supporting engineering teams by ensuring architectural designs are implemented correctly.
- Managing technical risks, dependencies, and design constraints within your domain.
- Defining and validating non-functional requirements including availability, performance, and security.
- Collaborating with third-party vendors, defence contractors, and system integrators.
- Contributing to the overall programme reference architecture and escalating strategic design decisions where appropriate.
Your profile:
- 7–12 years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture on large-scale technology programmes.
- Experience delivering solutions within government, defence, regulated industries, or national security environments.
- Strong cloud architecture expertise across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes or OpenShift, and cloud networking.
- Experience with API-first, event-driven, and microservices-based architectures.
- Strong documentation skills with experience producing HLDs, LLDs, ICDs, and ADRs.
- Good understanding of Secure-by-Design principles, identity management, and network segmentation.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
Nice to have:
- Experience working with Tier-1 defence contractors or Ministry of Defence programmes.
- Knowledge of MoDAF, NAF, or DODAF.
- Experience with API management platforms such as Apigee, Azure APIM, AWS API Gateway, or MuleSoft.
- Exposure to observability platforms including OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or Elastic APM.
- GCC or KSA government programme experience.
- Security clearance eligibility (SC or equivalent).
- AWS, Azure, GCP, or TOGAF certification.
