What will you be doing?

As a Senior Business Development Representative, your role is to build and develop relationships with new potential customer accounts in close collaboration with AvePoint’s sales team. You’ll identify organizations’ current and future IT challenges to help match AvePoint products and support services to those needs. In addition to delivering strong individual results, you’ll serve as a resource to other BDRs by sharing best practices, supporting new team members, and helping improve how the team operates. Your responsibilities will include:

-Researching, identifying, and qualifying potential customer organizations and prospects

-Positioning AvePoint effectively to facilitate a high conversion of leads to qualified pipeline opportunities by executing and communicating effective product and solution-based messaging via phone, emails, LinkedIn outreach, events (in-person and digital) and more

-Collaborating with sales account executives to help prospect their territories

-Owning the creation of email sequences, templates, and outreach messaging

-Conducting qualification and follow-up until a qualified opportunity is created

-Sharing successful approaches and best practices to help other BDRs improve their performance in the role

-Participating in the onboarding, training, and ongoing development of new BDRs

-Taking ownership of at least one specific component of the team’s processes or workflows, helping drive consistency, adoption, and continuous improvement across the team

Other qualities you’ll need to be a fit for this role include:

-Bachelor’s degree (Required)

-A minimum of 1+ months of outreach experience, preferably within software sales with a history of clear goal attainment

-Prior experience using Sales Automation and Prospecting Tools (Required)

-Excellent communication and listening skills

-Impeccable organizational and time management skills

-Ability to thrive in a fast, past, ever-changing environment

-An ability to understand technical concepts and convey them to customers

The Salary Range for this role is $60,000 - $65,000. At AvePoint, we strive to offer competitive, fair, and equitable total rewards. The listed salary range represents a good faith estimate, with final offers based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications. The listed range reflects base salary only; our total rewards include base salary, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, unlimited PTO), and depending on the role, bonuses, commissions, or equity (RSUs).
