Job description

We're looking for a smart and scrappy Strategic Finance Lead to work side by side with our founders as a hands-on thought partner on the financial thinking behind Vivrelle's growth. This is a great opportunity for someone genuinely excited to dig in to a business, with direct exposure to the founders and investors from day-one.

You'll own core financial planning and forecasting for the business, while also spending real time alongside leadership modeling different scenarios and sizing new business opportunities daily. We care much more about how you think, than about ticking every experience box... being able to run with ambiguity matters more than years on a resume. Retail or fashion experience is a nice-to-have, not a requirement.

You'll thrive in this role if you're a fast learner who doesn't need hand-holding, enjoys building models, and wants a front-row seat to how a growing consumer brand makes its biggest decisions.

What You'll Do...

Forecasting & Financial Planning

- Build and maintain Vivrelle's forecasting model, including membership growth, inventory/fleet economics, utilization, and unit economics by tier and category

- Support the annual planning and rolling forecast cycles, working closely with leadership to keep financial targets grounded in operational reality

- Build reporting that gives leadership clear, timely visibility into the health of the business (KPIs, cohort performance, retention, margin)

Strategic Business Partnering

- Work side by side with the founding team as a day-to-day thought partner on the company's biggest open questions

- Build financial models and business cases to evaluate new opportunities as they come up (these can span new markets, categories, membership tiers, partnerships, or other strategic initiatives)

- Model a wide range of business scenarios quickly, helping leadership stress-test ideas and compare trade-offs in real time

- Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking to size opportunities and pressure-test assumptions

New Initiative Evaluation & Deep Dives

- Take ambiguous, open-ended questions ("should we do X," "what would Y look like") and run with them independently, from a first pass to a structured recommendation

- Mock up quick, directional business cases to pressure-test ideas early, then build out more rigorous models for the ones worth deeper investment

- Jump into new projects and initiatives as priorities shift — this role will touch a wide range of strategic questions, not just one lane

What You'll Bring to Vivrelle...

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics
  • Sharp analytical thinking and financial modeling instincts
  • Genuine curiosity and excitement for our business
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, strategy, consulting, retail/merchandise planning, or a related analytical role; we're deliberately not looking for someone overly senior because this is a hands-on, in-the-weeds role
  • Comfort building models and business cases from scratch, without a lot of structure or precedent to lean on (We will test this during the interview process)
  • Self-starter mentality
  • Elite excel/google sheet skills
  • Excellent communication skills, you have a knack for translating analysis into something simple the non-finance executives can understand and act on quickly
  • Low ego, high energy, excited to work with our leadership team and core investors.
