Job description
As Supply Chain Lead, you will own, drive, and lead the end-to-end supply chain for Auterion products. This is a hands-on leadership role combining operational execution, people leadership, and strategic development of a resilient, scalable, and efficient supply chain.
You will lead and develop the supply chain team while working closely with Engineering, Procurement, Production, Logistics, Sales, Finance, and external partners. You will be the central point of ownership for supply chain performance, proactively identifying risks, solving issues, and driving improvements that support business growth and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Own the end-to-end supply chain for Auterion products, including supply planning, production scheduling, logistics, inventory, and order fulfilment
- Lead, develop, and grow the supply chain team, setting clear priorities, accountability, and ways of working
- Drive day-to-day execution and supply availability, ensuring materials, production requirements, shipments, inventory, and customer orders are managed accurately and on time
- Act as the primary point of escalation for supply disruptions, shortages, production constraints, and other supply chain risks, driving hands-on resolution
- Partner with Procurement, suppliers, and logistics partners to improve delivery performance, lead times, reliability, capacity, quality, and resilience
- Drive continuous improvement across supply chain processes, systems, data, and ways of working, including ERP and NetSuite
- Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs, using data to identify issues, drive corrective action, and provide clear recommendations to leadership
- Develop scalable processes and operating models, including SOPs, planning processes, and best practices to support business growth
- Lead cross-functional initiatives including new product introductions, engineering changes, supplier transitions, and operational readiness
- Develop supply chain strategy and resilience, including contingency planning, alternative sourcing, and critical-component strategies
- Support the continued growth of the function through hiring, coaching, capability development, and continuous improvement
Qualifications and Skills
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, planning, operations, or a related field, ideally in technology, hardware, aerospace, robotics, or manufacturing
- Demonstrated experience owning and improving end-to-end supply chain processes
- Experience leading, mentoring, or developing people
- Strong understanding of supply planning, procurement, inventory, production planning, logistics, and fulfilment
- Proven ability to manage risks, disruptions, shortages, and escalations in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
- Experience with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite, and strong Excel/spreadsheet skills
- Experience defining and tracking KPIs and operational performance
- Strong project management and process improvement skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical, operational, commercial, and leadership teams
- Hands-on, pragmatic, proactive, and comfortable with autonomy
- Confident user of Google Workspace
- Fluent English required; German is a plus
- EU citizenship required
