Job description

About Andrenam

We’re building sonar and sensing systems that bring light to the last dark domain: the ocean. Our team includes alumni from SpaceX, Anduril, ABL, Palantir and Qualia. We build full-stack—from physics to perception to product—with speed, elegance, and an unwavering commitment to the mission.

We believe the maritime domain will define the next century of economics, geopolitics, and global security. We're here to shape it.

About this role

Andrenam is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to build and run material operations as we scale from development builds to volume manufacturing. You'll set up inventory practices, procurement, and shipping and receiving in a new facility from the ground up, then keep them running as build rates climb.

We're a small team growing quickly. Many of our processes are still being established, so you'll have a direct hand in shaping how we approach procurement and inventory management rather than inheriting a system that's already in place.

In this role

  • You will define and implement inventory practices for a new manufacturing facility, from receiving and put-away to cycle counting and lineside replenishment.
  • You will configure and run the ERP/MRP system that tracks parts, BOMs, and stock levels as we move from low-volume builds to higher-rate production.
  • You will interface daily with engineers and technicians to triage shortages, expedite critical parts, and keep build schedules on track.
  • You will place and manage recurring purchase orders, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain stock levels that match real production needs.
  • You will own shipping and receiving operations, including inbound inspection and outbound logistics for finished units.
  • You will build the inventory strategy for the production floor, choosing where kanban, just-in-time, or min/max approaches make sense for a given part or process.
  • You will establish the reporting that gives engineering and leadership visibility into inventory accuracy, lead times, and material spend.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in low-volume manufacturing, with direct ownership of procurement, inventory, or material planning.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and MRP systems, including setting one up or significantly reconfiguring one for a growing operation.
  • Strong understanding of inventory strategies and where each applies: lineside, just-in-time, kanban, min/max.
  • High ownership, autonomy, and accountability. You build the process before someone tells you it's missing.
  • Comfort working directly with engineers and technicians on the floor, not just at a desk.

Nice to have

  • Experience at a manufacturing startup or in a prototyping environment where processes were still being established.
  • Hands-on hardware experience and the ability to spot defects or quality issues before they turn into shortages.
  • Experience standing up a new facility's material operations from scratch, not just running an existing one.
  • Familiarity with export control requirements (ITAR/EAR) in a defense or aerospace supply chain.

Location Torrance, CA. This role is on-site, working directly on the production floor.

Why join us? Andrenam is an innovative, mission-driven company at the intersection of maritime autonomy and defense. We offer:

  • Competitive salary
  • Long-term equity incentive program with significant growth potential.
  • Flexible PTO and paid holidays.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision insurance.
  • 401k
  • Lunch and snacks provided in office.
  • Access to a unique work environment, blending technology, maritime, and defense.

Salary Range $140,000-$165,000

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Disclosures This position may require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). You must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State without sponsorship for an export license.
