Job description

This is where Artificial Intelligence comes to life

The Mechanical Development team designs the drives, structural parts, and peripherals of our robots. From first concept to manufacturing-ready drawing, this is where lightweight, precise, and series-ready components come to life.

YOUR MISSION & CHALLENGES

  • Designing structural parts (casting, die-casting, sheet metal, plastic, additive manufacturing)
  • Designing for manufacturability and assembly, including tolerance allocation
  • Iterating designs based on FEM results (stiffness, strength, weight)
  • Creating 3D models, drawings, and bills of materials
  • Coordinating with suppliers on feasibility and tooling concepts

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Degree or technician qualification in mechanical engineering or comparable
  • Experience designing structural/housing parts
  • Knowledge of casting, sheet metal, or plastic part design
  • Confident use of 3D CAD and tolerance analysis
