Trader for a Discretionary Macro Team Focused on High Yield/Stressed/Distressed Credit

What you’ll do
- Work with the portfolio manager on electronic and non-electronic execution of all credit trades.
- Maintain strong relationships with a broad set of liquidity providers.
- Analyze new issues and maintain relationships with syndicate desks.
- Be responsible for position maintenance (e.g., CDS rolls) and liaise with Investment Services teams on corporate actions.
- Conduct research on things such as transaction cost analysis and broker/algorithm evaluation.
What’s REQUIRED
- 3+ years of work experience as a credit trader in corporate bonds or CDS.
- Experience with OMS/EMS platforms such as MarketAxess and TradeWeb.
- A team player and collaborative mentality.
- Understanding of order lifecycle from order generation to booking and TCA.
- Keen intuition for markets and a passion for studying them.
- Intellectual curiosity, tenacity, and the ability and willingness to proactively communicate potential operations risks.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
