About the role
We're hiring a Trainers Team Lead to run and grow our team of sales trainers and field collector trainers in a fast-growing fintech company. You make sure our field teams get consistent, high-quality training, delivered on time, even as products and priorities change quickly. You plan trainer capacity, manage workload, develop trainers' skills, and own the quality of training delivery and materials, improving them continuously through feedback and business performance data. The role sits within Partners & Distribution.
What you will do
- Resource planning
- Own a clear, transparent system for tracking trainer workload
- Manage workload and plan training schedules
- Take on the more complex training tickets yourself
- Trainer team leadership
- Hire and onboard trainers: define the profile of the trainer we need and spot the skills the team lacks, rather than just hiring someone to run sessions
- Develop trainers' competencies, including facilitation skills and the ability to create learning materials to a set standard
- Support team members while holding them accountable for quality and results
- Coach trainers and subject matter experts, and align learning priorities with operational performance gaps
- Delivery excellence
- Standardize facilitation practices and monitor consistency across trainers
- Ensure high-quality training delivery
- Own the training tickets and make sure SLAs are met
- Run needs analysis and post-training effectiveness reviews
- Training materials quality control
- Turn methodology into everyday practice and align trainers with new programs and updates
- Keep training materials current and controlled, together with quality, HR and operations
What we are looking for
- At least 3 years of experience in sales training, including at least 1 year managing or supervising trainers
- Experience in fintech, banking, consumer lending, insurance, or another business with a high-volume sales operation
- Hands-on experience in adult learning: training delivery, coaching, skills assessment, and curriculum development
- Strong facilitation skills and a clear view of what good training delivery looks like
- Understanding of the sales process and employees' learning needs across onboarding, ramp-up, and ongoing development
- Comfort in a high-paced, fast-changing environment: you reprioritize quickly, decide with incomplete information, and keep quality high under tight deadlines
- Fluency in English and Tagalog for training delivery, feedback, and material development
Who you will work with Business leaders in Partners & Distribution, Quality, HR, and Operations, plus the sales and field collector teams your trainers serve.
